In celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the
National Park System and the 75th anniversary of the completion of
Mount Rushmore, the Mount Rushmore National Memorial has put together a list of
99 activities events, places to visit, or fun things to do throughout the Black
Hills of South Dakota and Wyoming. The
Mount Rushmore Memorial has promised a small prize package, and more
importantly bragging rights, to whoever completes the largest number of
activities.
After discussing this with my wonderful wife, we decided
that we would complete this entire list of activities before the end of 2016. To increase the commitment even further I
started telling everyone I could find (including the head of the Mount Rushmore
Memorial) that my family would complete the list.
